SERVICES

Service and Support
- Pharmacy staff is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays.
- Billing Department hours: M-F 8am-5pm
Delivery
- We manage our own delivery system to ensure appropriate delivery of all medications. We do NOT contract with outside courier services.
Consultant Pharmacists
- Consultant Pharmacists are available under individual contracts.
Medical Reports
- Medical Administration Records can be made available.
Dosing Systems
- Blister Pack.
- ATC Multi-dose pack.
HIPAA Compliance
- We ensure appropriate storage and distribution of all medical records for the safety and security of our customers.
Billing
- We bill for Medi-Cal, Medicare and most insurance agencies directly. If there are any charges not covered, the responsible party will receive bills at their residence for co-pay fees and non-billable items once a month.
Part B
- Pacific West Pharmacy is Medicare Part B accredited to supply and bill for strips and lancets as well as enteral nutritional products.
Quality Assurance
- We have a staff of LVN’s who are well versed in Title 22 and Long Term Care services. These nurses provide oversight review approximately every 6 weeks. Services include cart review and audit, med room inspections, and med pass observations.
IV Certification
- PWP provides an LVN IV certification class (a 30 hour class approved by the State of California). This class is given approximately every 3 months and is at no charge to the staff of any facility under contract with PWP.
